Privacy Policy

This policy explains how NewRoofPayment.com, operating the NewRoofPayment.comwebsite and estimator (collectively, the "Service"), collects, uses, discloses, and retains personal information. It applies to visitors and people who submit an estimate or follow-up request through the Service.

Estimator information. We collect the property address you enter, coordinates associated with a selected address, project answers such as roof material and timing, and estimate results. Google services may return roof area, pitch, facet count, imagery availability, and imagery date for the property.

Contact request information. Only if you choose provider follow-up, we collect your name, phone number, email address, preferred contact method, the project and estimate details, and evidence of the exact authorization you accepted.

Credit-range selection. If you select an approximate credit range, your browser uses it only to filter the representative payment plans shown during the estimator. We do not request an exact score, run a credit check, or send or store the selected range in lead records or analytics.

Technical and security information. Our hosting and analytics providers may receive standard request data such as IP address, browser and device category, page viewed, referring domain, campaign source, and request time. We use this information for security, rate limiting, troubleshooting, measuring Service use, and documenting a contact authorization. We do not request device geolocation through your browser.

We use estimator information to verify the selected property, retrieve roof data and imagery, calculate preliminary project and payment ranges, operate and secure the Service, and diagnose failures. We use contact request information only to send the request to one selected roofing provider, notify that provider, respond to the request, document permission, and meet legal or record-keeping obligations.

We do not use contact form data to create advertising profiles, and we do not place a failed submission into browser storage. We may use aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be linked to a person or household for service planning and performance analysis.

When analytics is configured, we send limited page-visit and estimator events, such as whether an estimate was started or a roof material was selected, to PostHog. We do not send your name, phone, email, address, coordinates, lead identifier, credit score or selected credit range, typed form values, full referrer URL, URL query string, session replay, or automatically captured clicks. The analytics client does not store analytics identifiers or event data in cookies or browser storage, and person profiles are disabled.

You can turn analytics off without losing estimator functionality through "Privacy choices" in the footer. We store that choice and its version in your browser so the Service can remember it. We also treat enabled Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals as instructions to keep analytics off.

At your direction. After you check the contact authorization and submit the form, we disclose the contact and project information to one selected roofing provider so it can respond to that specific request. A selected provider may be affiliated with NewRoofPayment.com, under common ownership, or separately owned. The provider may have its own privacy policy and is responsible for its subsequent handling of the information. We may receive compensation for referral or marketing services.

Service providers. Netlify hosts the Service and stores lead records; Resend delivers lead notification emails; Google supplies address, mapping, aerial, and roof-data services; and PostHog receives limited analytics unless you turn it off or use a supported browser privacy signal. These providers process information to perform services for us and under their applicable terms and safeguards.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse, or complete a business transaction subject to appropriate confidentiality and notice. We do not provide contact information to unrelated data-broker lists or for unrelated third-party advertising.

When you type or select an address and request an estimate, address text, coordinates, IP address, and technical request information may be processed by Google to return suggestions, imagery, aerial media, and roof data. Our use of Google Maps Platform is governed by the Google Maps Platform Terms, and Google's handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Google content and attribution remain subject to Google's applicable terms.

The provider follow-up box is unchecked by default. It authorizes disclosure to one selected provider and contact by live telephone call, email, or text message about your roofing project, including estimate, payment, scheduling, and service options. Texts may be sent using automated technology. It does not authorize prerecorded calls or unrelated campaigns. Message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and recipients may reply STOP to opt out of texts. Consent is not a condition of purchase. We record your preferred contact method and ask the selected provider to use it whenever reasonably possible.

You may withdraw permission for future contact by telling the caller or emailing us at privacy@newroofpayment.com. Withdrawal does not affect processing that lawfully occurred before the request was received, and we may retain a limited suppression or consent record to honor the request and establish compliance.

Operational lead and project records are scheduled for deletion after 24 months. A limited authorization record, including the contact details, disclosure version, timestamp, IP address, user agent, and source page, may be retained for up to five years to document the request, withdrawals, disputes, and legal compliance. Rate-limit records are scheduled for deletion after approximately two hours. Analytics records are retained for no more than 24 months under our analytics account settings.

We may retain a record longer when reasonably necessary for an active dispute, fraud or security investigation, legal hold, or other legal obligation. When a retention period ends, records are deleted or de-identified according to our retention process.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed for the nature of the information, including encrypted transport, server-side validation, access controls supplied by our infrastructure, rate limiting, data minimization, and scheduled deletion. No system can guarantee absolute security. Do not submit sensitive information that the Service does not ask for, such as Social Security, payment-card, banking, or account-password data.

Depending on applicable law, you may ask to know, access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, or to limit or object to certain uses and disclosures. You may also have a right to appeal a denied request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

Send a request to privacy@newroofpayment.com. Describe the request and provide enough information for us to locate the record. We will verify requests proportionately and may deny or limit a request where permitted by law, including to protect another person's privacy or preserve required compliance records. Authorized agents may submit requests where applicable, subject to verification of their authority.

The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The Service and its providers primarily process information in the United States. If you use it from another country, information may be transferred to and processed in the United States under applicable safeguards.

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the Service, providers, or law. The effective date and version identify the current policy. If a change materially affects a prior authorization, we will request a new authorization before relying on the changed purpose.
